Access Monitoring
  • AccessWatch - This is a PERL script to monitor the access pattern to your web site, you'll know where people visiting your page are from, at what time and even which pages have every one visited! You don't need CGI to run it, but you have to have access to a UNIX shell. Click here for a sample page of stats.

  • WebTracker - With WebTracker you don't have to have UNIX shell or CGI access right to get a detailed page accessing report. One requirement is that your page must have less than 500 hits a day.
  • Web Side Story - In addition to your own statistics, they maintain top lists for many different categories of web pages. Their new HitBOX interface is very cool!

  • Aaddzz - The name of this service is weird, but the service itself is pretty nice. You will have everything presented in charts. They also provide a free counter service if you don't need the detailed stats.
  • Siteflow - Their so-called "free counter" service has so many detailed stats that they should be classified in this category. They also provide a commercial counter service along with this free one.

  • SuperStats - If you agree to display a banner for them you can get all those comprehensive stats about the visitors to your site for free.
  • TheCounter - Though it's named "TheCounter", it's indeed MUCH more than simply a counter. You will get loads of useful access information about your web site!
  • Extreme Tracking - Provides probably the MOST COMPLETE information among all known tracking service, also features a very nice layout. Check for yourself!
