• HomeSite - The best HTML editor I've ever used! This page is also created and maintained with HomeSite. This is a shareware, but you can still download an evaluation copy for free. • WS_FTP - A very easy-to-use FTP client program. Free for home and academic uses.
  
• Paint Shop Pro - This is a great graphics software. By using this single piece of software alone you'll be able to create many cool banners. But it is only free for 30 days, after that you'll have to register it.
